Report on your progress in producing a video that you can embed on your blog. Remember, students can use mobile phones, home cameras or laptops to capture fresh footage that you definitely own the copyright to.
This week, Lucas and I, started to fine tune the details of the video.
Last week, we had written up a quick draft script as a brief guideline of where we wanted the video to head. We used this script and checked that we were still happy with the concept and proceeded to proof read what we'd written and double checked that each individual piece of dialog fit the 140 character limit that Twitter has.
We also experimented with different software programs that our laptops had, to figure out which one would be the most effective to film our screen captures. We learned that Quicktime on Lucas' MacBook had a screen recording function and it was very easy to use and navigate, so we decided to use that, as opposed to the one on my laptop, which none of us knew how to use.
