Why is Hollywood having so much trouble adapting to the rise of the Internet? Is downloading killing Hollywood or could it be the path to new beginnings?
I think that the reason why the heavyweights of Hollywood are having so much trouble, is because the Internet is a medium that they have not fully understood and conquered.
The Independent Film Industry has been affected by financial and distribution aspects for many years. Juxtaposed to major film companies, independent films can build a bridge that can directly connect the filmmakers and their audiences.
